Simple Peppermint Hot Chocolate

The best kind of hot chocolate - is healthy and delicious!

Okay, healthy hot chocolate probably doesn’t sounds as rich and decadent as the steaming mugs of yum you envision cozying up to — but I promise this one if worth a try! I’ve got a recipe for you that’s dairy-free, healthy and oh, so good!

The blend of these simple ingredients still gives you the creamy, cozy cup of cocoa you dream of — plus some added health benefits! I used cacao powder in place of cocoa powder because it is higher in antioxidants and multiple minerals like magnesium and selenium. Adding coconut butter not only gives this drink it’s creamy texture, but also adds healthy fats that aid in absorption of fat soluble vitamins, keeps you full, and benefits the health of cellular membranes.

And if all that science and health know-how didn’t sell you — it’s straight up delicious!

This hot chocolate is…

rich
quick to make
whole foods based
dairy free

& only takes 6 ingredients.
