Not only is it refreshing in the warmer weather, but you know it’s packed with health benefits – and something new?! BEAUTY benefits! Excess sun, pool water, and other environmental factors that typically coincide with summer can wreak havoc on our skin and hair, and even our nails. This recipe features one of my favorite foodie finds for summer – Beauty Collagen from Vital Proteins – and this lavender lemon flavor is JUST what summer is calling for. I’ve already bragged on Vital Proteins for their awesome products and this one is no exception! The flavor is floral and bright, clean and refreshing and gave this smoothie a boost from basic to beautifying! Get ready to make this a staple in your smoothie rotation!

Blueberry Lavender Beauty Smoothie

Servings: 1 smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 c unsweetened almond milk

  • 1/4 c full-fat coconut milk

  • 1 c fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice

  • 2 scoops Vital Proteins Lavender Lemon Beauty Collagen

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients into a high-speed blender.

  2. Blend until smooth. *Add extra liquid for a thinner smoothie.

  3. Enjoy!
